If you can't take another day blowing all your money at the Mall , you're ready to do some work. You can't keep throwing your money away each month on brand new items and expect to get anywhere. America has more stuff then it knows that to do with . Our homes are filled with things, and still we go buy more crap. The truth is you can't afford it. I am not saying give up shopping, Who doesn't like to shop. We're brainwashed to think we need to buy everything brand new, full price at a retail store. If you stop and think about how many people are looking to get rid of the very same item your looking for. It's time to roll up your sleeves and get dirty, The hunt is on!

Ahna, what insight! I am very encouraged to think before I spend. God has given us money to be good stewards of it. How often I squander what is not mine. This really leads into the world of recycling as well. I would love to hear what your spin might be on that topic.
Nothing is better than shopping than finding a great deal ! Thrift shops, or garage sales I love them. I know I have saved our family thousands of dollars over the years buying everything from used toys,clothing, and housewares. My husband never minded me 'shopping' because he knew I would come back with some great stuff for little and would always have a great story to go with it and that was priceless !
